Michael Polychronopoulos is a Nature and Landscape Photographer from Melbourne, Australia. He has a passion for the natural environment and is driven to explore wild and remote landscapes with a particular focus on alpine environments.

His collection of photos predominantly cover Alaska, Western Canada, New Zealand and Australia's southern and southeastern regions.

He hopes his photos will raise an awareness of the importance and an appreciation of wilderness and the natural world. This website displays a selection of his work.

The majority of his photos were taken using large format 4x5 inch cameras (Linhof Technika IV and Ebony RW45) and to a lesser extent, a combination of medium format (Hasselblad 503CW) and 35mm film cameras. His choice of film has been fujichrome velvia.
